Lavrov Sergei Ivanovich, born August 28, 1991, resident of Kursk, with secondary technical education, unmarried, political activist of left-wing (communist) views.

He was accused of committing seven crimes under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for terrorist activity, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism") for publications on the VKontakte social network. On May 29, 2020, he was sentenced by the 2nd Western District Military Court to 5 years in a general regime penal colony, as well as compulsory outpatient psychiatric treatment. In addition, Lavrov was prohibited from administering websites, groups and chats on the Internet for 2 years and 6 months after his release.

Deprived of liberty since his arrest on June 5, 2019, after which he was under house arrest. In custody since May 29, 2020 to November 2024, when he was released.
