Volodymyr Lisichenkov is a citizen of Ukraine and a sergeant in the Azov Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was reportedly taken prisoner in Mariupol on 17 May 2022.
In July 2026, he was found guilty under the article on participation in a terrorist community. The court sentenced him to seven years' imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony.
According to the prosecution, in October 2020 Lisichenkov voluntarily joined the Azov Brigade and, until May 2022, 'as a member of a terrorist community,' took part in combat operations in the Donetsk region.
