Media producer Yelena Matushevskaya had been living in Serbia in recent years, but travelled to Russia on business in October 2026. Matushevskaya was detained and remanded in custody in a case involving the financing of an extremist organisation. The case was opened over seven donations of 500 roubles each to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK).
