Navlyutov Farkhad Shamilievich, a resident of Almetyevsk, a father of multiple children, worked at the Timur Islamov Foundation (which provided assistance to people who use drugs, as well as those living with HIV and hepatitis C, and their families). In 2018, the foundation was included in the register of “foreign agents.” On June 4, 2025, he was sentenced under Part 3 of Article 330.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (“Failure to fulfill the obligation to be included in the register of foreign agents by a person collecting information in the field of Russia’s military activities that can be used against the security of the Russian Federation”) to 2 years and 5 months in a general regime colony. He was likely released at the end of August 2025 due to serving his sentence.
