Nikitenko Vladislav Nikolaevich, born May 11, 1969, lives in the city of Blagoveshchensk, Amur Oblast. He has a higher engineering education. He worked as a journalist, acted as a public defender in various court cases. He is single, has a minor child.

On charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 280.3. of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the purpose of protecting the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintaining international peace and security, including public calls to impede the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the said purposes, as well as aimed at discrediting the exercise by state bodies of the Russian Federation of their powers outside the territory of the Russian Federation for the said purposes, committed by a person after he or she has been brought to administrative responsibility for a similar act within one year") and Part 2 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Disrespect of the court, expressed in insulting a judge participating in the administration of justice"), with the application of Part 2 of Article. 69, Art. 70 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, sentenced to 3 years in a strict regime penal colony with a fine of 1,176,506.36 roubles, with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to the use of the Internet, except for the possibility of contacting government agencies, for 2 years. On June 14, 2023, the appellate court reduced the term by one month and approved the punishment of 2 years and 11 months in a strict regime penal colony.

In 2017, he was convicted under the articles: Part 1 of Art. 298.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Slander against a judge, juror, prosecutor, investigator, person conducting an inquiry, employee of the compulsory enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation"), Part 2 of Art. 297 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Contempt of court"), Part 1 of Art. 294 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Obstruction of justice and preliminary investigation") and Part 2 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Use of violence against a government official"), was sentenced to a total of 6 years in prison and a fine of 1 million 200 000 roubles. He was released from prison in December 2021.

He was under house arrest from May 23 to July 9, 2022, when he was sent into custody.
