Ochirov Altan Sankhimovich, born September 30, 1981, resident of Elista, city administration employee. Married, has two children aged 6 and 11. Under Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the exercise of powers by state bodies of the Russian Federation, committed by a group of persons motivated by political, ideological, racial, national or religious hatred or enmity"), he was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony with an additional ban on holding state and municipal positions for a period of 3 years.
