He is charged under Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code (“Attempted participation in the activities of a terrorist organization”). Subsequently, the charges were upgraded to include an additional count under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code ("High Treason," punishable by up to life imprisonment). He is in custody.
