Sharifgaleev Fangiz Fanisovich was born on 16 January 1996, a resident of the city of Sibai in the Republic of Bashkortostan, a citizen of Russia, married, father of two young children, educated as a physical education teacher, worked as a security guard.

On 24 December 2024, he was sentenced under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in mass riots involving violence, the use of objects dangerous to others, and armed resistance to a representative of the authorities") and Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Use of violence not dangerous to life or health, or threat of use of violence against a representative of authority or his relatives in connection with the performance of his official duties") to 5 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony. On 6 May 2025, the court of appeal reduced the sentence to 4 years of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony.

Deprived of liberty since 6 March 2024.
