Skyba Anhelina Serhiivna
Anhelina Skyba is a resident of Mariupol and the widow of a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier who died in a Russian pre-trial detention center. In late July 2025, she was detained in the Pskov region—reportedly while attempting to cross the border into Estonia—and was initially placed under administrative arrest before being transferred to a pre-trial detention center in connection with a criminal case. According to the prosecution, between 2024 and 2025, while in Ukraine, she made six money transfers to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Azov regiment, totaling approximately 6,855 rubles. In her final statement to the court, the defendant simply wept and asked for the minimum possible sentence. The court sentenced Angelina Skiba to 13 years in prison on charges of high treason and financing terrorism.
