Kirill Suvorov is a native and resident of Moscow, a historian specialising in the Middle East, a poet, the author of several books about Moscow, and the creator of the YouTube channel PRAVDORUB2020. From 2017 to 2022, he served as a municipal councillor alongside Ilya Yashin, and later Yelena Kotyonochkina.

In 2022, he was held administratively liable on six occasions.

On 3 July 2026, he was remanded in custody on charges of spreading 'false information' about the Russian army.
