Aigiz Urazaev was born on 20 January 2001. He is a Russian citizen and a resident of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

On 3 March 2025, he was convicted under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Russian Criminal Code ('Participation in mass riots accompanied by violence, the use of objects posing a danger to others, or armed resistance to a government official') and Part 1 of Article 318 ('Use of violence not dangerous to life or health, or the threat of violence against a government official or their relatives in connection with the performance of their official duties') and sentenced to 4 years and 6 months' imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony.

He had been deprived of his liberty since 15 February 2024.

On 20 April 2026, the court replaced the unserved portion of his prison sentence with 3 years, 3 months and 18 days of restricted liberty.
