Anton Usov is a Ukrainian citizen and a serviceman of the Azov Special Operations Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He has presumably been in captivity since 27 June 2022.
On 17 March 2026, Anton Usov was added to the Russian Federal Financial Monitoring Service's list of extremists and terrorists.
On 23 April 2026, Usov's case was transferred to the Southern District Military Court. On 13 May 2026, Judge Igor Degtyaryov found Usov guilty under Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Russian Criminal Code ('Participation in a terrorist community') and Article 205.3 ('Training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities') and sentenced him to an unknown term of imprisonment.
