Zhuravel Nikita Sergeevich

Zhuravel Nikita Sergeevich, born January 25, 2004 in Sevastopol. At the time of his arrest, he lived in Volgograd. He is a graduate of the Nakhimov Naval School branch in Sevastopol and a student at the Volgograd Social and Pedagogical University. He worked part-time as a food delivery man. He was charged with committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 148 ("Public insult to the religious feelings of believers in places of worship", liable to up to 3 years' imprisonment) and Part 2 of Article 213 ("Hooliganism by a group of persons by prior conspiracy motivated by religious hatred", liable to up to 7 years' imprisonment) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and was sentenced to 3.5 years' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.

On November 25, 2024, he was sentenced to 13 years and 6 months in prison. He has been in custody since May 20, 2023.
