Kirill Denisenko, a 20-year-old resident of Krasnodar, has been sentenced to nine and a half years on charges of attempted high treason and illegal border crossing. He was detained in August 2025 while attempting to cross the border on foot through a forest in the Bryansk region, allegedly to fight on the side of Ukraine.
