Natalia Kozlova lived in the city of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia Oblast of Ukraine. The city was occupied by Russian troops in March 2022. Apparently, soon after this, Kozlova accepted a second, Russian citizenship. In May 2025, she was accused of financing terrorism. According to the prosecution, in 2024, she repeatedly transferred funds from her personal account to the Ukrainian Azov formation, recognized as a terrorist organization in the Russian Federation. The court sentenced 67-year-old Natalya Kozlova to 9 years of imprisonment.
