Kravchenko Semyon Sergeevich
Russian citizen Semyon Kravchenko lived in Ukraine for a long time, where he had a child. After the full-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022, he was wounded by Russian soldiers while attempting to leave a village in the Sumy oblast. He hid in a basement for a time, then managed to escape to Slovakia and later to Norway. In November 2024, he decided to return to his sister and parents in Sevastopol, but was detained at a border crossing while attempting to enter Russia from Norway. He was charged with treason and financing terrorism for 13 money transfers totaling approximately 5,600 rubles in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Azov Battalion. Kravchenko denied the charges, insisting that the transfers were made by others with access to his bank account. Kravchenko also stated that he gave his initial confession under physical and psychological pressure from the FSB officers who detained him. The court sentenced him to 14 years in prison.
