Investigators found his message to contain public calls for terrorist activity, specifically calls for the assassination of Putin and FSB officers. The defendant pleaded not guilty and categorically rejected any commitment to violent ideology. While he was in custody, his elderly mother, for whom he provided constant care, was transferred to a nursing home, where she soon died. In January 2026, the court found Krichevskiy guilty and sentenced him to 5.5 years in a general regime penal colony, with an additional ban on website administration.
