Anatoly Lipkovsky, a resident of Altai Krai, was sentenced to 5 years' imprisonment for four comments posted online, one of which consisted of just a single word.
The court deemed the comments concerning the attack on the Crimean Bridge, a shooting at a military enlistment officer, and hooliganism at a post office to constitute justification of terrorism, while a comment expressing dissatisfaction with the deployment of Russian servicemen to Kazakhstan was deemed to constitute calls for extremist activities.
Among other things, the court imposed a 3-year prison sentence for a comment consisting of a single word: 'Bravo'.
Following the verdict, Lipkovsky was remanded in custody.
