Andrey Shkolin is a resident of St. Petersburg and worked as a storekeeper in a tire warehouse. In 2020, he posted a photo on VK of anarchist Mikhail Zhlobitsky, who in 2018 committed a suicide bombing at the FSB building in the Arkhangelsk oblast, captioning it, "Heroes live forever." In April 2025, Shkolin's home was searched and he was sent to pretrial detention. The court found him guilty of justifying terrorism and sentenced him to 5 years of imprisonment. Shkolin has numerous health issues.
