In May 2025, a criminal case was opened against previously convicted trash streamer Andrey Skutin for rehabilitating Nazism. The charges stemmed from several spitting on a St. George's ribbon, which he did in exchange for a subscriber's donation during his stream. Following a denunciation by activists, Skutin was detained, but the court initially refused to remand him in custody. In October 2025, his pretrial detention was changed to pretrial detention due to his violations. In reaching its decision, the court took into account the streamer's previous conviction and, given that the crime with which Skutin was accused occurred during an online broadcast, increased the severity of the charge. Ultimately, the court sentenced Skutin to 2 years and 6 months in a penal colony.
