Stepanov Konstantin Sergeevich
Konstantin Stepanov, a senior conductor for special-purpose railcars at the Bank of Russia, was accused of joining the Freedom of Russia Legion and recruiting an acquaintance into the activities of the Russian Volunteer Corps. His arrest on criminal charges was preceded by nearly three months of "carousel arrests" on trumped-up grounds. On June 2, 2026, the court found Stepanov guilty of participating in a terrorist organization and recruiting others into its activities, sentencing him to 14 years.
