Todaev Boris Nikolaevich

Boris Todaev is a Kalmyk activist and the editor-in-chief of the Elista-based newspaper Narn. In September 2026, he was placed under house arrest and charged with insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland. In a newspaper article, he had included a woman’s account of the Soviet deportation of the Kalmyk people and wrote that those who carried out such actions were Nazis.
