Omsk resident Snezhana Vozhakova, who worked as a caregiver, became the subject of a criminal case in January 2025 for publicly justifying terrorism online. According to the FSB, in her Telegram posts, she expressed anti-Russian views, supported banned Ukrainian organizations, and justified a drone attack on the Alabuga Special Economic Zone. According to Vozhakova, during interrogation, she was directly told that her case was politically motivated. The trial took place in a single hearing, and Vozhakova was sentenced to 3 years in a general regime penal colony and taken into custody in the courtroom.
