At least eleven Ukrainian POWs recognized as political prisoners have been released in a prisoner exchange

On July 4, Russia and Ukraine carried out another prisoner exchange.

At this time, it is known that the following individuals have returned to Ukraine:

  • 20-year-old Vladyslav Plakhotnyk
  • 28-year-old Dmytro Samchenko
  • 26-year-old Mark Lyshchynskyi
  • 27-year-old Oleksandr Harnaha
  • 24-year-old Oleksandr Podushko
  • 24-year-old Oleksandr Dakhnenko
  • 39-year-old Oleksii Maksymov
  • 25-year-old Artem Vyhovskyi
  • 39-year-old Volodymyr Tkhоr
  • 31-year-old Dmytro Danilchuk
  • 39-year-old Vitalii Smal

Russian courts had sentenced them to lengthy prison terms solely for serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
